Meet and Greet – Sewcial Group

We are hosting a meet and greet session for anyone interested in helping us to build a social sewing (Sewcial) group. The group is suitable for anyone interested in learning to sew, wanting to share their skills or just to sew together socially.
Are you interested I’m meeting like-minded people who are interested in everything from dressmaking to upholstery? We welcome beginners to expert alike!
The group meets twice a month (the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month from 6pm to 9pm at the Pavilion building in Grove Park on Armthorpe Lane.
Come along for a chat and meet other members at our information evening on 11th September where you can find out more about the sewing group and the Hack and Makerspace in general. There will also be the chance to sign up and become a member of our amazing group. At the Hack and Makerspace, we don’t just concentrate on sewing, we have other sessions where you can bring, play, use and learn with all sorts of gadgets and technology. Don’t hobby solo, come and hobby together!
